Recently our team conducted comprehensive energy audits at two prominent hotels in KOS island, identifying key opportunities to reduce energy consumption and operational costs. The audits included detailed assessments of HVAC systems, lighting, insulation, and energy management practices along with integration of renewable energy systems. By implementing our tailored recommendations, both hotels aim to achieve an average energy savings of 50%, significantly lowering their carbon footprint and enhancing overall energy efficiency. This case demonstrates our commitment to delivering actionable insights that drive sustainable, cost-effective improvements in the hospitality sector.

During 2024, we partnered with Alumil, a leading Aluminium manufacturing company to develop a comprehensive decarbonization strategy across their property portfolio. The project involved detailed emissions profiling and scenario modeling to identify the most impactful pathways to net-zero. Our strategy prioritized energy efficiency upgrades, on-site renewable generation, and procurement of green energy, supported by a robust roadmap with short-, medium-, and long-term targets. The result was a clear, actionable plan to transition toward net-zero while maintaining operational resilience and regulatory compliance in a hard-to-abate sector.

We supported Renel Energy & Power Engineering in launching its sustainability journey by preparing the company’s first ESG report, aligned with global standards such as GRI and SASB. Our team guided RENEL through materiality assessment, data collection, and stakeholder engagement to build a transparent and credible disclosure framework. In parallel, we implemented a customized carbon accounting software, in partnership with Position Green, to streamline emissions tracking and reporting across Scope 1, 2, and 3. This initiative provided RENEL with the tools and insights to monitor performance, set reduction targets, and communicate progress effectively with stakeholders.

We supported Komotini Paper Mill in leveraging fiscal incentives related to energy efficiency investments by structuring an energy saving plan optimized for accelerated depreciation benefits. Our team identified eligible upgrades across key systems, quantified energy savings, and aligned the investment strategy with national and EU tax frameworks (Law 4172/13). Through our technical documentation and submission to the Ministry of Energy, the client maximized return on investment while also achieved a significant reduction in taxable income.

In 2025, we partnered with Hellenic Dairies SA to design and develop a 15MW RES project in Xanthi, aimed at supporting the company’s decarbonization goals and securing long-term energy cost stability. The project included site assessment, feasibility studies, permitting, and full engineering design for a solar PV installation integrated with the company’s energy demand profile. Once operational, the project is expected to offset a significant portion of the company’s electricity needs, reducing annual CO₂ emissions by over 80%.

During 2024 we supported KRONOS S.A., a leading canned fruit producer, in implementing the ISO 50001 Energy Management System to enhance energy efficiency and formalize its commitment to sustainability. Our services included gap analysis, energy data mapping, process optimization, and staff training to ensure full compliance with the standard. By integrating ISO 50001 into daily operations, KRONOS S.A. improved its energy performance, reduced operational costs, and strengthened its position in international markets with a certified, data-driven approach to energy management.

We collaborated with the Municipality of Sykies to develop a comprehensive energy upgrade and decarbonization plan for its public premises portfolio. The project involved detailed energy audits, emissions baselining, and the identification of cost-effective retrofit measures for schools, administrative buildings, cultural centers, road and public square lighting. Our team prioritized interventions such as insulation, HVAC modernization, and solar PV integration, aligned with the municipality’s climate goals. The resulting roadmap supports a phased reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions, while maximizing access to public funding and improving comfort for building occupants leading to a 40% carbon reduction in 2030.
